GS1 Trusted Data Services
GS1net, GS1 Australia's product data synchronisation service, has been operating for over 14 years. Today, GS1net is used by over 1,500 companies across Australia and New Zealand to communicate detailed product data to their trading partners, using global, and industry endorsed data standards.
Over 450,000 product records have been loaded onto GS1net by suppliers, and every time there is a change to the product data, products are deleted from the market or new products are introduced, suppliers update this product information to ensure their trading partners have up to the minute, accurate product master data.
GS1 Trusted Data Services allows you to receive instant data files containing the product records you are interested in. You can choose ...
- What product categories are included in your data files
- What product data attributes you want
- How often you receive updates
- The file format you receive (i.e. Excel, XML, CSV comma or Tab delimited)
As the data available increases so will the benefit to companies.
Some of the data attributes you can choose from include:
- Barcode Number (GTIN)
- Indicator to show if the GTIN is the base unit
- Various Product Descriptions
- Product Classification (GPC)
- Packaging Type and dimensions
- Indicator to show if the packaging is marked as returnable
- ARTG ID (for Health products)
- Dangerous good classifications
